The Poultry School is an annual event that brings together farm owners, veterinarians, production managers and industry partners to a two-day of learning activities. A wide array of topics are discussed – from poultry diseases, marketing trends, government policies, management and nutrition, diagnostics; all aimed at providing attendees with knowledge and skills that will enable them to face the challenges of the growing poultry industry and the increasing human population.

On this year’s installment, the Poultry School will highlight the importance of collaboration among the different sectors of the poultry industry - the government agencies, industry leaders, consumers and the community. With the theme, “Poultry 2.0: Revolutionizing Through Innovations and Precision Farming”, this is a call for all stakeholders to work in synergy towards a globally competitive Philippine poultry industry.

The objective of the 2024 Poultry School is to provide a framework that goes beyond management, disease diagnostics, marketing trends and disease prevention and control. Thus, we see the importance of having compliance and familiarity with appropriate statutory and regulatory requirements as one of the topics of this year’s Poultry School. Moreover, there will still be focus sessions on emerging and re-emerging diseases, new housing technologies, updates on animal nutrition and best management practices.
